AGSE® Extends Licensing Agreement for Pratt & Whitney GTF Shipping Stands
Atlanta, Georgia, USA–April 2023
AGSE proudly inked a long-term contract extension with Pratt & Whitney to continue supporting the engine manufacturer's cost-efficient, dependable, and sustainable GTF™ engine. The signing, covering engine shipping stands for the Airbus A320neo & A220 and Embraer E2 family aircraft, was made official by Mark Freeman, Senior Director of Aftermarket Supply Chain for Pratt & Whitney, and Diane Morey-Henderson, President & CEO of AGSE at Pratt & Whitney's MRO Americas booth in Atlanta on April 18.
"It is a pleasure to continue designing and manufacturing quality ground support equipment that provides unrivaled protection for this innovative engine. We also take great pride in maintaining a strong partnership with an industry leader fully committed to reducing emissions in commercial air travel like Pratt & Whitney," said Morey-Henderson.
"Extending our relationship with AGSE will ensure continued support for our customers worldwide, providing smooth transport and exceptional care of our GTF engines for many years to come," Freeman said.
Since the engine's first run in 2007, AGSE has remained a trusted manufacturer of ergonomic, user-friendly, and highly durable shipping stands for handling Pratt & Whitney's entire GTF family safely and efficiently. All AGSE GTF shipping stands include a shock-mounted base to reduce vibration during engine transport, bootstrap adapters to simplify on-wing engine removal and installation, and Skydrol-resistant paint for lasting protection against corrosion. Over 1,200 AGSE GTF shipping stands now support global airlines, lessors, and engine shops with their most critical MRO operations.
