The AGSE-E009 Tail Stand is a caster mounted stand specifically designed for American Airlines to service the tail section of the Fokker F100 Aircraft. The tail stand is fixed height with multiple decks to service and maintain the vertical and horizontal stabilizers. The first deck provides access to the thrust reverser. A gate is provided on the first deck landing to facilitate removal of tool boxes and other heavy equipment. A hinged deck is provided on the forward end of the tail stand to provide access to the exhaust plug and engine pylon. The deck elevation is adjusted through the use of a cable winch. The second deck provides access to the horizontal stabilizer and upper vertical stabilizer surface. The deck surfaces that abut the aircraft (on all deck levels) include movable sliders with non-marking bumpers. Lights, electrical receptacles, and air receptacles are provided around the periphery of each deck level.

The AGSE-D076 Tail Dock is an adjustable height, caster mounted, one piece, multi-level dock that provides access to the tail of B737-800 aircraft. The second level provides ground access with two stairways (located on either side of dock). This level accommodates the horizontal stabilizer, and is equipped with a pneumatic hoist for aft cabin door removal. The first level is accessed from a stairway located in the middle of the second level, and provides access to the APU. Levels three through five provide access to the rudder section and include mechanically driven sliders in the rudder swing area. Each of these levels are accessed from two fixed stairways (located on either side). All inboard edges have contour adjustable panels (sliders) that provide docking clearance. The dock height is adjusted using motor driven jackscrews.

The AM-1166 AFT Fuselage and AM-1167 FWD Fuselage Stands have been designed to provide access to the B727-200 aircraft at the floor level and ceiling level for general maintenance, overhaul and painting. Both the forward and aft stands cantilever over the wing and provide a continuous walkway from the Nose Dock to the rear door on each side of the aircraft. Flooring and stair steps are of steel, non-skid decking called aero deck. The decking can be manufactured from galvanized steel or can be primed and painted.
Protective bumpers follow the contour of the aircraft and protect the skin during positioning. Safety chains and 42" high handrails are attached the full length of all walkways. Swivel casters with steering arms, tow bars and brakes are provided with each stand for positioning to the aircraft. Vertical adjustment of the stand will allow access to a jacked or unjacked aircraft. Adjustment is by telescoping leg assemblies, manually pinning to attain the desired elevation. The low position of both stands is determined by an O.E.W. aircraft and the high position by the clearance required for a normal gear retraction.

The Turret Maintenance and Conditioning Platform (TMCP) provides a climactically clean room environment surrounding the laser turret on the Airborne Laser (ABL) 747 aircraft for the purpose of supporting the ABL Test Program.
The TMCP is supported by a Rolling Base and fabricated primarily from structural grade tube steel. The Rolling Base is horizontally cross-braced to ensure square alignment of the vertical lift system. Four (4) ten-ton capacity floor jacks are mounted to the rolling base to stabilize the structure. The floor jacks feature hand crank operation of a worm gear and acme screw actuator with swivel-mounted shoes.
The TMCP features a gowning room and a class 10,000 clean room with a sliding door separates the two rooms. The environment of both rooms is climactically controlled by a system made up of a air conditioner, humidifier, blower and HEPA filters. The rooms also feature fluorescent lighting, insulated walls, smoke detectors, fire sprinklers and power outlets. The clean room has a pendant control for vertical and horizontal motion and a communication headset plug-in box.

The AM-1196 Center Engine Stand was designed to provide access to the number two engine with the tail cone up or down and with the patio doors open. With the tail cone up and the doors open, slider sections (8-1/2" in width) can be extended out from the cutout section of the platform to contour around the doors. These sliders are deployed by using a "T" bar and have a protective bumper as does the front edge of the cutout area. When the tail cone is lowered a center rolling platform can be moved forward, from its stowed position at the rear of the platform, to cover up the cutout and provide a solid work surface 23' in width. A forward safety barrier is supplied for added protection while mechanics are working near the front edge of the stand and at a height where standard handrails do not provide adequate protection against a fall. The barrier is a parallelogram structure on which a safety ne has been attached. After an aircraft has been docked a mechanic can swing the safety barrier inboard. A rubber pad fastened to a foot supports the frame against the skin forward of the firewall. On each inboard side of the safety net along strap with buckle assembly has been provided and can be attached to a harness hard point on the forward patio wall and drawn tight keeping the safety barrier against the aircraft. A slotted bar keeps the barrier upright and in a stowed, outboard position.
The platform elevation is adjustable and is set at an approximate 24' during erection. Should the stand require future adjustment, lever arm hoist (Tuggits, Coffing, etc.) from airline bootstrap kits can be utilized and attached to lugs located on each leg, Adjustment is accomplished by cranking the lever arm hoist up, removing four (4) SS pins and re-pinning at the desired elevation.

This allows access for “D” check inspections and maintenance with aircraft jacked to unload the landing gear. The AM-1026 engine workstand is designed for use at the aircraft (engine on wing) or in the overhaul shop in conjunction with an engine stand. The stand is adjustable from 84" to 120" (pin leg" to accommodate the various work conditions. The workstand deck area is 4'0" x 12'0" and is equipped with a side stair which is 34" wide. 8" diameter polyurethane casters and floor locks are provided foru (4) places.
An auxillary stand to allow improved access to the pylon is available as an option.
This stand is supplied in RH and/or LH configurations.

The AGSE-D037 Modular Dock System provides access to service and maintain the DC10, MD11, and A300-600 Aircraft. Vertical dock adjustment is provided by pin legs spaced at three inch intervals. This will accommodate the various aircraft jacking heights. Access to various deck levels is accomplished by stairs attached to each dock module. ‘Clip-on’ stairs are included to adjust stair height over the vertical travel range of the dock modules. Each module is caster mounted for easy positioning.

Utilities, such as pneumatic, electric, and lighting are included on the various dock modules. The AGSE-D037 configuration consists of the following modules:

The AGSE-V020 Special Loading Platform is designed to load the Aeromedical Evacuation Ship Set (AESS) on Boeing B767 Aircraft. The AESS components will be loaded in the main cabin area and the forward cargo bay. The platform deck has a 4,000 pound capacity and has reversible deck panels with rollers to provide both a roll plane and smooth non-skid deck. Removable handrails are provided on the periphery of the deck. Non-marking bumpers are provided on the inboard edges that may contact the aircraft. A suitable forklift is required to support the platform during use.
