211030 Towbar for B767 & C-17 Aircraft

Features:

• Used for towing/steering aircraft by attaching to nose landing gear (NLG) while pulled by tow tractor
• Primarily consists of cylindrical steel body

• Lunette eye at one end of towbar connects to tow tractor

• Mechanical head assembly at opposite end of towbar connects to aircraft NLG
• Towbar mounted on articulated undercarriage with hydraulic pump & retractable spring (to raise/lower towbar)

Configurations:

• 211030-1 attaches to B767 aircraft & includes extra shear pin as part of kit (212000-200)
• 211030-2 attaches to NLG from below for B767 aircraft & includes extra shear pin as part of kit (212000-200)
• 211030-100 with bearing protectors for axles, uses different hydraulic pump for B767 aircraft & includes extra shear pin as part of kit (212000-200)
• 211030-174 for C-17 GLOBEMASTER aircraft & includes extra shear pin as part of kit (211033-1)
• 211030-501 with different adapter head kit, shear pin kit & towbar assembly for C-17 GLOBEMASTER aircraft & includes extra shear pin as part of kit (211033-1)
