215040 Towbar for A318, A319, A320 & A321 Aircraft

Features:

• Used for towing/steering A318, A319, A320 & A321 aircraft by attaching to nose landing gear (NLG) while pulled by tow tractor
• Primarily consists of cylindrical steel body

• Lunette eye at one end of towbar connects to tow tractor

• Mechanical head assembly at opposite end of towbar connects to aircraft NLG
• Towbar mounted on articulated undercarriage with hydraulic pump & retractable spring (to raise/lower towbar)

• Warning flag on head extends when shear pin breaks

• Painted to meet customer specifications

• The following configurations are available:

• Simple “Slide-Lok” mechanism allows quick & easy attachment/detachment

Mobility:

• Maximum aircraft towing speed of 9 MPH (15 km/h)
• Pneumatic tires designed to operate at gauge pressure of 14 psi
