Features:

• Used for towing/steering A300 aircraft by attaching to nose landing gear (NLG) while pulled by tow tractor
• Primarily consists of cylindrical steel body

• Lunette eye at one end of tow bar connects to tow tractor

• Mechanical head assembly at opposite end of tow bar connects to aircraft NLG
• Tow bar mounted on articulated undercarriage with hydraulic pump & retractable spring (to raise/lower tow bar)
• “Slide-Lok” mechanism allows quick & easy attachment/detachment
• Warning flag on head extends when shear pin breaks
