The 9C6019 (or AGSE AM-2733) GE90-94B Propulsor Shipping Stand is designed to transport, and/or, store the GE90 Propulsor.

The stand is compliant with all applicable General Electric specifications. It is capable of being shipped on the main deck of B747F and MD-11 Freighter Aircraft. The Propulsor pins securely into place quickly and easily.

The stand consists of an inseparable base and cradle assembly. The base is supported by a 96 x 196 inch pallet. Integral truck shipping shock mounts are mounted between the base and cradle to cushion truck shipping vibrations and shocks.

Optional casters and towbar are available. Each caster assembly offers a 5 inch wide by 10 inch diameter wheel for easy mobility and a weight capacity of 5000 pounds each. Shock absorbing polyurethane tread wheels, position locks, and face brakes are standard. All four caster assemblies are designed to pin in an elevated position for air/truck transport of the entire stand. Towbars stow on frame when not in use. Maximum towing speed for entire stand (with engine) is 5 Km/h (3 MPH).

This unit is designed to transport components to/from work and installation locations in a safe and secure manner. Unit offers a fiberglass cover which is water tight and secured in place on a metal fabricated base assembly. Document storage receptacle and view port included. Hoist rings (4) are built into the top of the fiberglass cover and are to be utilized in removal/installation of the cover. Interior structure consists of many segregated pockets or receptacle areas to facilitate safe and proper support of items. Fan Blades, Fan Blade Platforms, and Blades have designated storage pockets, each identified by sequential number. This will keep all components in a recognizable and immediately accessible removal and/or installation format. Special foam is incorporated in several areas of this container to help secure individual components as well as safe-guard and cushion these items.

The Fan Rotor Spinner is securely attached to a specially designed vertically supported Ring Mounting Plate. This mounting plate is removable (secured by two quick release ball-lock pins) from its storage support weldment location to help in the  installation/removal of the two spinner components. Both forward and aft sections of this component are to bolt securely onto the Ring Mounting Plate.

G02 Configuration: The AGSE-E166-G02, Trent 900 All-Purpose Stand (APS), is designed to accommodate the Trent 900 jet engine in a height restricted shipping mode. The stand is compliant with Rolls-Royce specification FDS837. The stand (with engine) is suitable for air transport on the main deck of B747 Freighter aircraft and truck transport using optional external shock mounts.

The engine stand includes a self-contained manual jackscrew for eccentrically rolling the engine to achieve the minimum height and width to pass through the large side cargo door. The base is attached to a special configured pallet (125”x196”) for air transport of the entire stand, with or without engine. Base features include fork lift access.

The stand also includes the bootstrap kit (AGSE-E16682-S01) to facilitate on wing maintenance (Note: the kit may be deselected if not required).

The G03 Configuration: Customers may consider to order the AGSE-E166-G03 that comes with a hydraulic jacking legs to enable installation/removal of casters or shock mounts. (Note the optional accessories below.)

The 9C6025P02 (AGSE-E102-G02) Transport Stand is designed to:

1. Transport, tow and store the General Electric GE90-94B propulsor only, not full or RFI engines.
2. Transport, tow and store the General Electric GE90-115B series propulsor, full and RFI engines.

Recommended: the automatic air lift system (PPK) is recommended for your maintenance operation - 9C6025P02-PPK.

The stand consists of a base (AGSE-E107-G01) and an engine support structure, cradle (AGSE-E108-G02). The cradle separates from base for bootstrapping for engine change. The cradle may be raised or lowered to accommodate transport and or fan separate/mate requirements. Integral to the base are four (4) jacks for leveling, stabilizing and raising the stand to retract casters. The jacks are operated by manual hydraulic pump. Integral to the cradle is a hydraulic cable lift system operated by manual pump and/or optional air-operated hydraulic pump.

Configuration for Transportation and On-wing Installation and Removal of Engine:

Customers are recommended to select the complete set of tools to facilitate both transportation of full engine and installation/removal of engine from the wing.

The 11C4487P02 (AGSE-E175-G04) Transport Stand is designed for truck transport of the GEnx-1B full engine in the production configurations using the mini bracket adapters 11C4495 (AGSE-V087) and truck/air transport of the Propulsor only.

The stand is recommended to be selected an installed pneumatic pump kit (PPK). The PN for this is 11C4487P02-PPK (AGSE-E175-G04). The PPK facilitates ease and speed of use.

The stand consists of a base and an engine support structure, a cradle assembly. The cradle has two positions, raised for transport of a full engine or lowered for the Propulsor only. The cradle is raised/lowered by an integral cable system operated by a manual or optional air-operated hydraulic pump. The base supports the cradle on elastomeric shock mounts to protect the engine from transportation and handling loads and vibrations. The base also has retractable shock absorbing casters, a hydraulic jacking leg system and tubes for fork lifting. The base also has provisions for storing forward and AFT engine mounts and adapters. This stand also may be used for fan module separation from or mate to the Propulsor using the 11C4490 fan transfer dolly assembly. This is usually done for AOG Propulsor only change out situations.

The AGSE “Loadmaster” is a unique concept in casters specifically designed to provide shock protection, load equalization, and support for heavy loads- unavailable from conventional casters.

The 5" wide polyurethane wheels on these casters are mounted on an offset shock absorption system consisting of four heavy duty die springs. The “Knee Action” design keeps the casters ON THE FLOOR over uneven surfaces and ensures load sharing by all casters, reducing individual caster overload and premature failure. In addition, the “Loadmaster” caster provides excellent secondary protection for fragile loads by reducing shock inputs induced during towing operations. These casters are used primarily for jet engine transport equipment.

All “Loadmaster” casters are standard equipped with foot operated brakes and four-position swivel locks. Wheel diameters come in -

10 inch, 2500 and 5000 LBS capacity.
12 inch, 2500 and 5000 LBS capacity
14 inch, 5000 LBS capacity

The AGSE-G029 in-line gantry system gantry system is designed for the overhaul of aircraft engines. It consists of one assembly line and one disassembly line connected by an interlocking transfer crane and tooling hanger return system. Four storage bay location are included on as part of the tooling return system which may store parts of complete engines.
Each assembly or disassembly line has one AM-1653D single bay type gantry located at the entrance and exit. The gantries are designed with a suspended three rail lift frame with powered vertical travel for engine removal. Rail ends have powered interlocks to allow transfer of workstation hoists and suspended tooling from the fixed work station and tooling return system. Once the engine is transferred onto the system at the gantry station it is moved onto the fixed rail work station line with over all length for four engine over haul stations.
The disassembled engine components or complete engine suspended on tooling beams may be transferred onto the transfer crane system. This system is approximately 156 feet in length with two horizontal traveling cranes. Each crane may interlock with the assembly and disassembly lines, storage bays, and the fixed rail tooling return rails. Complete engines or component parts may be transferred to the fixed assembly line rail system. This system is designed with a fixed line assembly work stations with a vertical traveling gantry at the end engine loading onto transportation equipment.

The AM-1928 Shipping-Storage is designed to transport and store the General Electric CF6-80A, CF6-80A2, CF6-80A3, CF6-80C2, and CF6-80E1 engines in QEC configuration. A separate AM-1928 configuration is required for each engine type. The Engine Handling System is compliant with the applicable General Electric Purchase Performance Specifications. It is capable of being shipped on the main deck of B747F Freighter Aircraft. The engine pins securely into place quickly and easily.

AM-1928-H, (includes Hydraulically Raised/Lowered Caster Kit)
• Supports CF6-80A, CF6-80A2, CF6-80A3, CF6-80C2, and CF6-80E1 engines in QEC configuration.

Bootstrapping capabilities for A300-600, A310-200, A310-300, A330, B747, B767, and MD11 are incorporated into the stand. A document container is secured to the base for all manuals and documents. An optional FADEC and oil tank storage container is available.

The unit offers a fiberglass cover which is water tight and secured in place on a metal fabricated base assembly. A Document storage receptacle and view port are included.
