The fixture is designed primarily for air transportation but can also be used for limited ground shipment under controlled conditions. The fixture can support the fan in either the horizontal or vertical position and comes with integral turnover points which also serve as a protective frame.

The AM-1127 is also part of the AM-1192 Fan/Core Shipping System and is used for shipping as well as basic support for the fan during assembly/disassembly of the engine.

The AM-1127 can be utilized for Fan EMU shipment on any of the following aircraft provided they are equipped with a 96" or larger door.

The AGSE-E049 Cowl Door Air/Truck Shipping Stand is designed to transport, and/or, store the Pratt & Whitney PW306B Engine Cowl Doors. The stand is compliant with the design loads, dynamic loads, and interfaces identified in NORDAM Group - Manufacturing Division Specification NG 7005 (Dornier 328-300 Nacelle system Shipping Container Specification). The stand (with cowl doors) is capable of being shipped on the lower deck of A340 Aircraft. The cowl doors pin securely into place quickly and easily. A shipping cover is included with the stand. The cowl door support arms are removable and store on the base frame to allow for stacking of empty stands. The stand is forklift able from either side.

The AGSE-E049 Stand consists of a base constructed from welded steel frames with removable cowl door support stanchions.

The stand is skid mounted and does not include casters. There are numerous tie down rings located on the base to secure the stand to a truck trailer for truck shipment.

The Engine Alliance PWA107326 (AGSE-C072-G01) Split Engine Components Shipping Container is designed in accordance with Ground Support Equipment Specification GSE 3019 for the GP7200 aircraft engine. When shipping the split engine of propulsor and fan case, components that must be removed are stored and shipped in the container. The following list the quantities and components to be shipped in the container. A steel base frame supports the components at padded positions and compartments with hook and loop securing straps or lid. The fan blades are secured to a rotating carrousel which provides a single point installation/removal location. A water tight fiberglass cover
is connected to the base with clamps spaced about the perimeter. The cover has four (4) hoist rings located on top for removal, along with a document container and view port window.

The AM-1076 Bootstrap System is designed to provide a means of engine change for both wing and tail engines, by either manual or power systems. The system is unique because the beam lengths have been held to 45" as compared to the 90" beams used on the Douglas DZZ unit. This unique feature provides an unit of light weight material to be produced, any component of which, can easily be handled with one hand. This low size and weight feature provides for faster, safer installation on the aircraft.
The system is basically a two-piece unit comprised of a forward and aft beam assembly, plus the related attachment hardware. The forward beam is three (3) piece unit of aluminum construction, heaviest component of which is 17#. All attachment holes are steel bushed, and attachment hardware is alloy steel. The aft beam is a tubular aluminum member with an enclosed cable system that provides load equalization for the four (4) hoist system. Weight of the aft beam assembly is 32#. The system can be used with either manual hoists (Tugits) or a power winch system. Neither are included as a part of this system, but will be quoted on request.
Aero Methods recommends the Hoover Electric Power units for use with this equipment. The Hoover units are light and operate on 400 Hz power, with a single point, fully synchronized control. Adequate capacity is provided by these units, so that no cable reeving is required and installation is rapid and simple.

The AGSE-E211-G01 Pneumatic Tire Dolly is designed to interface with the AGSE-E210-G01 Cradle for site transport of P&W GP7200 engine. The cradle pins securely into place quickly and easily. The dolly is towable from either end with a maximum towing speed of 5 MPH. The dolly
can easily be disassembled for shipment and storage.
