The GE 9C6031-P01 Split Engine Components Shipping Container is designed to accommodate those sections of the GE90 -115B engine. When shipping a split engine (Propulsor on 9C6025 and Fan Stator Case on the 9C6015, a container is required to store and ship the various engine components that must be removed. This is designed for those components. It is used in conjunction with the 9C6028 Container that houses the fan blades.

Unit is designed to transport components to/from work and installation locations in a safe and secure manner. Unit offers a fiberglass cover which is water tight and secured in place on a metal fabricated base assembly. Document storage receptacle and view port included.

Hoist rings (4) are built into the top of the fiberglass cover and are to be utilized in removal/installation of only the cover.

2C81051G03 (superceded 2C81051G01 and 2C81051G02): The CF34-8E engine outer frame assembly (BASE), is designed to be used as an engine support dolly and as a skid that can be moved with a forklift. The outer frame assembly also has casters on it so that it can be moved on flat surfaces. The casters can be folded up during forklift moves. The outer frame assemblies are designed to be stacked on top of each other for storage and shipping. The G03 assembly is designed to be used to ship the CF34-8E engine, by having an extended bumper on both the forward and aft end to protect the engine.

2C81052G01 (supercedes 2C81052G02): There is a requirement for an assembly (Cradle) to use during installation of the engine into the Engine Outer Frame Assembly (2C81051). The assembly must function in conjunction with the Frame Hoist Adapter (2C81062). The assembly will be required to support the engine while the engine is in the Outer Frame Assembly. This Frame Assembly fulfills these requirements.

The AGSE-E170 engine transportation system is designed to transport the Pratt & Whitney PW6124 engine for the Airbus Industrie A318 Aircraft with the basic Engine Build Unit (EBU)equipment. Engine and stand may be configured for transportation on commercial main deck cargo aircraft including the DC-8F, 727F and 737F, 747F, military aircraft such as the C130, C160 and C5A. Removable spacers with storage provisions for removed engine components are provided to achieve the height adjustment needed for installation into smaller aircraft. Adapters are provided to support the common nozzle assembly, CNA, Pratt & Whitney part number XPWA99961. Bootstrap lugs are included as a part of the cradle weldment for on wing installation. Also included are provisions to attach a standard shipping pallet (SEE PART NUMBER AGSE-E170-G04)  that may be included as an integral design or connected by straps. A document container is included on the base frame for transportation documents and operation manual. The cradle is used with Bootstrap Airbus P/N #98D71203008000.

Transport base unit consists of a frame weldment supported by four wheel caster assemblies. Each caster assembly offers a 5" wide by 10" diameter wheel for easy mobility and a weight capacity of 5000 Lbs. each. Shock absorbing polyurethane tread wheels, position locks and face brakes are standard. All four caster assemblies are designed to pin in an elevated position for air/truck transport of the entire unit, with engine. Tow bar stows on base frame when not in use. Maximum towing speed of unit is 5 km/h (3 MPH). Built-in shock absorbing mounts cushion all transport movements. A series of Tie-down rings (10) offer secure retainment during long distant hauling of unit.

The Stanley Part Number 110505 Engine Shipping Stand is designed specifically for transportation,
ground handling, and bootstrapping of PW 2037 Engines used on Boeing 757 aircraft. It is used in
conjunction with the 110506 Cradle. The –1 and –701 configurations are basically similar, the major
difference being the shape of the rails. The –90 configuration is also similar, with the major
difference being the distance between the rails. The –1 and –701 rails are 88 inches apart and
the –90 rails are 90 inches apart.
The 110505 Stand rides on locking swivel casters and shock mounts and is equipped with a
towbar. The casters are shock-absorbing and may be mounted at either of two heights. The lower
position provides one inch clearance for engine installation and removal, and the upper position
provides five (5) inches for towing. The casters may be stowed on the stand for shipping. The aft
castors are equipped with locking brakes. The shock mounts prevent unwanted vibration or shock
loads from being transmitted in the engine during handling and shipping. The towbar may be
attached to either end of the stand.
