Design
- Built to customer plans and specifications and meets UBC and OSHA requirements
- Constructed from structural steel shapes, plates, and tubing that conform to ASTM A36, A500, and A513
- Components use ASTM A325 or SAE Grade 5 fasteners or are welded per AGSE Welding Manual AM-W-001 based on AWS D1.1
- Deck surfaces and sliders are made from dimpled or smooth Aerodeck with non-skid coating
- Optional slider locks prevent unwanted sliding
- Protective bumpers are installed on slider ends and any surfaces that may contact the aircraft
- Handrails and toe plates are included on open deck sides, with chain handrails where required
- Sliders shape the deck area to match the aircraft contour
