AGSE-E009
This is a caster-mounted stand for personnel to service the aircraft’s tail section. The tail stand is fixed height with multiple decks to service and maintains the vertical and horizontal stabilizers. The first deck provides access to the thrust reverser. A gate is provided on the first deck landing to facilitate the removal of toolboxes and other heavy equipment. A hinged deck is provided on the forward end of the tail stand to provide access to the exhaust plug and engine pylon. The deck elevation is adjusted through the use of a cable winch. The second deck provides access to the horizontal stabilizer and upper vertical stabilizer surface. The deck surfaces that abut the aircraft (on all deck levels) include movable sliders with non-marking bumpers. Lights, electrical receptacles, and air receptacles are provided around the periphery of each deck level.
