AM-1217B
Provides access to the leading and trailing edges of the aircraft wing. Each stand has a 6-degree slant which approximates the incline of the aircraft wing. Access stair to each platform is fixed from the ground to the first landing (different heights), and then a series of telescoping steps from the landing to the platform for final ascension. Each stand is capable of a platform height adjustment of approximately 72″ total vertical travel. The platform is raised and lowered using screw jacks (4 each stand) actuated by a “nut runner” type pneumatic powered wrench at one location on each stand.
