The dolly has a maximum lifting height of 50″ to allow ample clearance for the aircraft’s tail to enter a low entrance hanger facility door. Its maximum lifting capacity is 13,000 pounds, thus allowing more than enough power to raise the aircraft’s forward section to the allowable height. The unit’s power source is an electrically operated motor that operates two jackscrews. Mechanics of lift is a scissor-type design that lends itself to proper clearances, straight vertical travel, high power-to-lift distance proportions, and lightweight mobility of the entire unit.
