SPECIFICATIONS
This sling installs or removes the tail engine to/from the DC-10 aircraft. Electrically operated jack screws maneuver a traveling counterweight with or without an engine to maintain the center of gravity under a single hoisting point. This is necessary because of minimal wall clearance behind the aircraft when docked.
