Design
- Two heat treated steel lifting beam assemblies
- Three wire rope hoists with adapters and a control console
- Console includes a remote pendant for hoist operation
- Fabricated from structural steel shapes that meet ASTM A500, A513, and A36
- SAE 4130 material used throughout key structural areas
- All bolted connections use A325 structural bolts or SAE Grade 5 hardware
- Primed and finished with high grade, Skydrol resistant enamel; color optional
- Pins and miscellaneous hardware made from corrosion resistant materials or plated as required
Mobility
- Control panel is caster mounted for easy manual positioning around the aircraft in the hangar or on the flight line
- Panel is not towable
- Lifting beams and hardware are stored in a plywood container
- Three powered hoists with adapters are stored in individual containers with steel bases and fiberglass lids
- All containers can be lifted with a forklift
