The Stanley Part Number 110505 Engine Shipping Stand is designed specifically for transportation,ground handling, and bootstrapping of PW 2037 Engines used on Boeing 757 aircraft. It is used inconjunction with the 110506 Cradle. The "1 and "701 configurations are basically similar, the major difference being the shape of the rails. The "90 configuration is also similar, with the majordifference being the distance between the rails. The "1 and "701 rails are 88 inches apart andthe "90 rails are 90 inches apart.The 110505 Stand rides on locking swivel casters and shock mounts and is equipped with atowbar. The casters are shock-absorbing and may be mounted at either of two heights. The lowerposition provides one inch clearance for engine installation and removal, and the upper positionprovides five (5) inches for towing. The casters may be stowed on the stand for shipping. The aftcastors are equipped with locking brakes. The shock mounts prevent unwanted vibration or shockloads from being transmitted in the engine during handling and shipping. The towbar may beattached to either end of the stand.

The Stanley 200470 towbar is used for towing and steering the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) (B737) by attaching to the aircraft's Nose Landing Gear (NLG) and being moved by a tow tractor. The towbar body consists of a cylindrical aluminum body. At one end of the tow bar is a lunette eye which connects to the tow tractor. The Stanley Part Number 114800-1 & -2 Engine Shipping Systems are designed specifically for transportation ground handling and maintenance of IAE V2500-A5 Engines used on the Airbus A319 20 and 21. The 114800-1 is composed of the 114701-1V Stand and the 114802-1 Cradle. The 114800-2 uses the 114802-2 cradle.

The 114701-1V Stand rides on swivel casters. The casters may be mounted at either of two heights. The lower position provides one inch clearance for engine installation and removal and the upper position provides six (6) inches for towing. The casters may be stowed on the stand for shipping. The aft casters are equipped with locking brakes. The mounts for the cradle are shock absorbing. The shock mounts prevent unwanted vibration or shock loads from being transmitted to the engine during handling and shipping. There are twelve (12) tie-down rings located around the stand for convenience in shipping.

The 114802-1 & -2 Cradles provide forward and aft engine mount assemblies. They are intended for low speed (3 MPH [5 KPH] or less) ramp and hanger smooth surface use only and can be used with the engine manufacturer-approved engine slings or bootstrap hoists to install and remove V2500 engines. The cradles are equipped with four (4) pivoting legs that enable them to be used as a shop work stand. The forward and aft engine mounting supports may be removed to facilitate shipping and storage.

The 114802-1 & -2 Cradles utilize a turnbuckle system that absorbs any rotational stress that is placed on the engine. The aft engine mount of the cradles are designed to pivot thereby eliminating stress caused by rotational inertia. Once the engine is placed onto the cradle and secured to the stand the engine can be moved without fear of damage.

The Stanley V2500-D5 Engine Cradle is designed for use with the IAE V2500-D5 engines used on McDonald Douglas MD90 aircraft. The Engine Cradle is composed of the Cradle and Roller Shoe Assemblies. When combined with a shipping stand these components facilitate ground and air transport of the V2500-D5 engines. This manual provides operational and service instructions for the Stanley V2500-D5 Engine Cradle.

The cradle features:
· Forward and aft mount assemblies are included.

· Can be truck shipped as a standard size load.

· Hoist and bootstrap provisions.

· Roller Shoe assemblies are included in the –2 configuration which allow movement while on the engine stand.

· Removable mount adapters.

· Universal design can be used with a variety of shipping stands.

The Cradle Assembly is available in the following configurations:
· P/N 113401-1 Designed for a stand with rails 90” apart but does not include roller shoe assemblies.

· P/N 113401-2 Designed for a stand with rails 90” apart and does include roller shoe assemblies.
