This stand contains a shock mount system, forklift pockets, tiedown rings, swivel casters with brakes aft and self-latching stowage link, a caster-mounted two-piece tow bar, and a six-dagger alignment provision for cradle mounting.
The cradle has detachable forward and aft engine mount adapters, hoist, and bootstrap provisions. Mount adapters are attached separately to the engine ground handling mounts to facilitate engine installation and removal. Boostrap attachment points are provided for B-767 right- or left-wing and MD-11 tail or wing engines. Bar knobs retain the cradle on the stand at each of the six daggers and clamp forward mounts with a swing bolt.
The stand may be shipped by truck or by air when installed on a suitable 96″ x 125″ air shipping pallet.
